HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

There are several ways to pay your membership fees.

By MobilePay

By International Transfer
In case you are not outside of Denmark or unable to pay through your Danish Bank, you can also pay your Bandhab's membership by International transfer.
IBAN code DK2320005498792237, please add your name and e-mail address in the message field.

Once we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. We will also send you a reminder, when it is time to pay next year's fee, which is of course completely voluntary.

WHAT'S THE MONEY USED FOR?

Your membership donation allows us to fund the formation of so-called Gono Kendras, or People's Centers.

Once a Gono Kendra has been set up, the members (primarily women, but also other discriminated/socially vulnerable groups such as Christians, Hindus or disabled people) pool put their resources together to sustain the group, institute savings programmes, learn about their rights and vocational skills and organize at the community level to ensure their voices are finally heard.

Each Gono Kendra is completely self-sustaining once it has been set up, meaning your donation never goes to the same person or group twice. It's about giving people the basic opportunities they need to finally break the cycle of poverty and permanently change their lives and their children's lives in the process.

Bandhab is a 100% volunteer-driven organization. This means that the 100% of the revenue we receive goes into funding our development activities in Bangladesh and fundraising/member-related events in Denmark.

If you have any questions at all, you are welcome to write to us at info@bandhab.dk
